Jet Prime elevates the travel experience for discerning individuals seeking a seamless and luxurious journey. Nestled within Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, we transcend the concept of a business aviation lounge, offering a tranquil oasis for both commercial and private jet travellers.

Jet Prime forms part of the Airport Holdings Ltd (AHL) group. Founded in August 2021, AHL has rapidly ascended in the aviation realm, overseeing 22 prominent subsidiaries like Air Mauritius and Airports of Mauritius Ltd, Mauritius Duty Free Paradise, Airports of Rodrigues Ltd, amongst other.

In a new chapter, Jet Prime relaunched its operations in October 2022. Today, our dedicated team meticulously handles every aspect of your experience, from pre-flight planning to post-departure follow-up, ensuring unwavering attention to detail. This commitment to personalised service allows you to relax and unwind in exquisite comfort of our luxurious lounge before or after your flight.

Jet Prime’s team of 42 members is fully committed to your delight and comfort. The team is headed by Siven Chellen (Chief Executive Officer), Catherine Capdor (Senior Manager), Shailendre Munnee (Operations Manager) and Pooven Sockalingum (Guest Experience & Lounge Manager).


SIVEN CHELLEN

Chief executive officer

A dedicated professional and passionate about aviation industry, Siven Chellen heads Jet Prime since 11 June 2024, after holding several executive positions at Airports of Mauritius Ltd (AML) from 2006 to 2022. He also served as a Director on the Boards of ACI World (Airports Council International) and ACI Africa. Siven’s expertise and leadership gained recognition during a previous long career in banking and finance in the UK and Mauritius. He is both a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). “Joining Jet Prime, my objective is to provide an exceptional experience for our customers,” he states.


CATHERINE CAPDOR

SENIOR MANAGER

Holding more than 20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Catherine has built extensive expertise in the field of Tourism & Hospitality. She holds a Master in Business Marketing (Australia) and a BSC Hons in Management with Specialisation in Tourism & Hospitality. Catherine has been working in hotels since 2006. At Jet Prime since July 2023, Catherine qualifies her first in the Business Aviation Lounge as “challenging and exciting.”


SHAILENDRE MUNNEE

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Holder of a BSC in Tourism, Leisure and Recreational Management and a Master in Business Administration, Shailendre brings over 17 years of experience in the hospitality and airline industries to Jet Prime. His proven track record in operational excellence ensures every aspect of Jet Prime runs smoothly, from establishing protocols and managing resources to exceeding client expectations. Shailendre's leadership guarantees a seamless and efficient experience for all.


POOVEN SOCKALINGUM

GUEST EXPERIENCE & LOUNGE MANAGER

Pooven's expertise in hospitality and aviation ensures your time at the Jet Prime lounge is nothing short of exceptional. Holder of a Bachlor of Art with honors in Business Tourism, his passion for tourism translates into creating unforgettable moments for every guest. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to personalised service, Pooven guarantees a relaxing and luxurious escape before or after your flight.
